Having a Contract

HSAA Strength In Members

Having a Contract

One of the most important things Health Sciences does for its members is negotiate "collective agreements" or contracts. Once a contract is negotiated, the employer cannot arbitrarily change the terms and conditions of employment. The employer is bound for the duration of the contract.

HSAA administers agreements representing more than 14,000 paramedical technical, professional and general support employees in the public and private health care sectors of Alberta.
