EMS advertising campaign kicks off Feb. 9

A major HSAA advertising initiative targetting EMS personnel across the province commences Monday, Feb. 9th.

The Health Sciences' communications campaign will appear on billboards and buses throughout Edmonton and Calgary, as well as some site-specific rural locations across the province.

The objective of the campaign, titled "Join Alberta's #1 EMS Union", is to "raise the level of awareness with EMS personnel across Alberta, that Health Sciences has a proud history of representing EMS workers at the bargaining table for more than a quarter of a century," said Scott Pattison, HSAA Communications Officer.

Most EMS Services are scheduled to move under the Alberta Health Services's jurisdiction on or around April 1, 2009. Visit strengthinmembers.ca, Health Sciences' EMS-dedicated website, to stay informed regarding upcoming EMS news.
